I can not confirm that in OOo 3.2.

I suppose you use form with Table control, the TAB works well in 3.2, when I
press TAB in last field, the cursor goes into next (or new) record first field.

Some cases the files created in version earlier then 2.4 works differently in
3.x, due to introduction of ODF 1.2 compatible odb file.

Never use file created in 3.2, in earlier versions than 2.4.x.

there is only one query in the attached database (sorry, think I got the MIME
type wrong). This is the one I have a problem with. What it used to do was
display all newly entered data, moving to a new line on final tab. Now it enters
the data on the database (at an indeterminate point in time) but I can't see how
to get it to move on to a new record and keep displaying the entered records.

Thanks for any advice. Ed

I can confirm it, happens when in form use Grid (Table control), and Main Form
property Add data only set to Yes.

I created a much smaller example file.

I tested in OOo 3.2 (and OOO320m14), DEV300m75, behave a little differently, but
wrongly.

In OOo 3.2 works same as in OOO320m14, when inserted value into last field (or
auto increment), press TAB nothing happens in form all data remains, but record
inserted into table. I must close form to enter another new record.

In m75, when I enter data into all field, press TAB, the data inserted into
table, the row cleared (no data on it), new row opens, cursor in first field of
second row. I can write into this field, but can not move to next. I can use
cursor keys within first field, can not click out this field. I must close form
to enter another record.

Assign developer.

I have a database with a data entry form which simply contains all cells across
a row. In 2.3, after entering all data in a record, a new line/record was
created by simply tabbing from the last field and adding the data for the new
record. In 3.2, doing this shows a new, blank, row but leaves the cursor on the
top line which contains the entered data.

eg for three field record, say, enter
a (tab) b(tab) c (tab)
shows: a b c on the top line
and then a blank record, while the cursor is on the c in the top line and not
the new blank record where it used to be.
