Questions to the original poster : - are you using a local or a remote MySQL database (mine is a local, i.e. same workstation server) ? - which version of MyODBC (mine is 3.51.23) ? If the Change Address datasource wizard is Java based, then the problem is one for Mac porting, and not for Database access. The following problem happens under the latest Openoffice using X11 (2.3), the Aqua alpha nad even NeoOffice. When I try to access or create an Address Source that is connected to MySQL using Connector ODBC, OpenOffice crashes instantly. Steps to reproduce: Here are steps to reproduce the error that works every time here (this one does not even really access MyODBC): 1. File - Wizards - Address Data Source 2. other external data source, Next 3. Settings 4. MySQL (ODBC), Next 5. As Name type in any NON Existing (or existing) data source name 6. click Test Connection This crash is even reproductive if MyODBC is NOT installed or when I don't use the actual Name of my database. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
