This is always the case when the slide sorter bar is active (even when the center pane shows the notes view). The edit view does, too, but neither notes view nor handout view do. Fixed by hiding the 'insert slide' menu entry when the SID_INSERTPAGE slot is not supported, i.e. when the center pane shows the notes or the handout view. Right_click one of the layouts, we can find the shortcut menu, but if we choose the Insert Slide, there isn't any difference in this document. It seems that this function is redundant.
