And indeed, connectors are move protected (!) which i did not know and never would have thought. Move protection happens in SdrEditView::CheckPossibilities() where at the end there IS special (and very old code) which forces MoveProtection for connected connectors! I now have to speculate why this was ever added (and what happens when removing it).
