messages ...), every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce the
problem, and explain why you believe that your results are unexpected.
I checked with Ooo 3.0.0 RC1 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOO300m5
(Build9350)] and can confirm the reported effect with some limitations.
1. Open new Spreadsheet, make sure that measurement is in mm
2. set Zoom to 400%
3. Click on column header A to higlight column
4. Menu 'Format - Column - Width ... - Width 0,5mm
Enter
5. Redo from 3. for Column B with 0,25mm
6. Redo from 3. for Column C with 0,1mm
7. Redo from 3. for Column D using context menu with 0,05mm
Until here all as expected, column with become smaller and smaller every step.
8. Move cell cursor through the modified columns and check width with
menu 'Format - Column - Width ...'
Expected: A ... D: 0,5 - 0,25 - 0,1 - 0,05mm
Actual: as expected.
11. Indeed, there is a problem to minimize column width dragging the vertical
column border in the column header using mouse pointer. It's a little difficult,
but I can shrink a column with until 0,28mm (visible in tool tipp), but when I
release lft mouse button, the with increases to 0,58mm (or similar).
