Selecting text that is in front of inserted (wrap: through, background) pictures using the mouse is not possible. Furthermore, if the user right-clicks over keyboard-selected text with the mouse being in front of inserted pictures, the picture is selected and the right mouse menu is appropriate for the picture. Example: try selecting the text in front of the golf ball in the attached file. However, when using a background image (example: compass) using the page properties, selecting text is no issue.
