There is a very helpful suggestion made regarding the issue in the first mention
of the bug. Superscript footnotes that are inserted by Insert| Footnote should
not allow continued superscript styling.
Otherwise, a cursor placed next to the footnote creates a problem where it is
impossible to break out of superscript style.
