What is the country/language code for German. YOu should be able to find the
build here:
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/SRC680_m89/Build-0/.

Please check with a current build and reopen if the problem persists. Marking as
worksforme.

When I reopen it in 1.9.88 the page style is still first page.

I was confused at first. When the document opens again, the styles list goes
back to paragraph styles, so maybe you say default paragraph style and thought
the page style hadn't changed.

The other issue might be that in 1.9.88 there is not default page style called
standard.

Please download the latest snapshot, 1.9.87 and test. If the problem persists,
reopen the issue and explain.

As I described in my posting from Mar 24 this behaviour occurs in the German
version of OOo. Have you test it with OOo 2.0 German?

Is there a German version ot 1.9.87 to test it. I don't think so.
