When I create a PDF, either by File Send to Send as PDF or by exporting empty placeholders are *always* printed with the predefined placeholder text, independent of the settings above. I create templates with several placeholders, and often not all placeholders are filled out. I see no reason why these empty placeholders should be included in the PDF, they simply appear with their dummy text in a different colour. This ruins the option to email the document as a PDF unless the user clicks on every single placeholder and remove them.
