According to the support person this issue is caused by the Java AccessBridge v1.2. A downgrade of JAB to v1.1 should solve my problems. After doing so ZT 8.1 was able to track the UI events and the text cursor in all OO apps except for Calc. When I start Calc and ZT 8.1 is active than my system becomes instantly unstable and sluggish. I only managed to reach a stable state after a system log-off/on.
