Mine are no bigger than ~200K, running 2.4.2p2 and dumping about 45 partitions at 50G total. Glad to hear that! There's hope for my situation. I wiped out the entire curindex info directories, crossed my fingers, and started backing up from scratch. The files are indeed no larger than 250K. Thanks for the help everyone. Chris
Re: Mammoth-LT tape type
I did not want to rediscover the black thread (as we say in spanish :)), and thought that someone else may be using the same tape unit. I ran the tapetype during the weekend, and here is the result for anyone else that may want it: define tapetype EXA-MAM-LT { comment just produced by tapetype program length 13620 mbytes filemark 32 kbytes speed 2875 kps } Thank you anyway. I have an Exabyte Mammoth-LT tape drive. I already searched trough the mailing list archives and through the tape type list at the amanda faq-o-matic, but have not been able to find the tape type for this Exabyte tape model. Does anybody has one of this working with amanda? Could you be so kind as to send me the tape type for this model? Thank you very much in advance. I will be looking forward to having news from you soon. Regards Ana Maria Escalante Computer Department Instituto de Fisiologia Celular National University of Mexico
