Speaking of "scripts".  Amanda has the ability to run a
user defined script at many points of a run.  One of those
points is "post-dle-backup".  However, nothing is said about
whether "post...backup" is pre- or post- taping.  If it is
post-taping, I suppose you could just access the vtape,
removing the header block from each tape chunk.

I've emperical evidence no one reads mine.  People
I regularly communicate via email still ask me for
my address or phone numbers.
