We are happy to answer any questions or review any patches. What are you interested in working on? mesa discussions generally happen on the mesa-dev mailing list. This one is mainly for kernel and xorg patches. Most mesa reviews have moved to gitlab so you may want to look at the merge request there. I've already got a few very minor patches in gcc and was working on it for awhile before other things including optimizing the STL for r values in move/copy constructors, with should have been noexcept. One of the the maintainers there continued my idea it seems with the new filesystem class and other STL libraries.
