[AMRadio] Johnson Viking II Mods
I am reworking a Viking II. I see a few audio mods listed that vary in degrees of complexity. I'm wondering if one is favored over all others. Re: [AMRadio] Johnson Viking II Mods
The best I've ever heard are the Level I and Level II mods described in ER some years ago. Both can be done without drilling one new hole (completely reversible). I've done them is Viking I's and II's. Re: [AMRadio] Johnson Viking II Mods
I have to concur with Dave, W4QCU, on this one. I restored my Viking II and implemented the mods described in Electric Radio. Easy to do and the rig performed nicely. If you don't have the ER mags, check the N9OO website for the ER index and back issues can be ordered from the ER website.
