Thanks to all who responded to my plea for help with my CAT interface problem. The solution was the interface itself. Just got a new W1GEE interface between my computer and FT-736R. [amsat-bb] Help!!
I have been inactive for awhile but am now ready to get back on the birds. In the meantime I changed from an older computer running Windows 2000 to a newer, faster one running Windows XP Pro. I am using SATPC32 with a Yaesu FT-736R and a LVB Tracker with a Yaesu 5500 AZ/EL rotor. Things are set up as far as I can tell the same as they were before. My rotor control works but the cat control doesn't. I am hoping there is some little thing I did before that I am forgetting to do now. PLEASE, any ideas? Al, W8KHP ___ Sent via amsat...@amsat.org. I was in the middle of a contact on FO29 when I got repetitive message boxes stating the following: Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 00405DFC in Modul 'SatPC32.exe'. [amsat-bb] FT-736R won't send CW
I posted this to the 736R forum but have not received any good answers. I know I must be missing something obvious but I can't get my FT-736R to work in CW mode. I plug in the same key I use with my FT-767GX, press the CW button, turn on the VOX, press down the key and nothing happens. Rig works fine on SSB and FM.
