Hi Rick Check the KP2RC unit output volt if it the same as the input supply volt ! This volt suppose to be same on both the input and output coax connectors of the KP2RC control unit . Check the RCA phone jack at KP2RC unit if there any bridge or metal twist any short in this jack will drop the output volt to Zero . At HO-68 Orbit #1205 Wisp started to upload a file number 161 The file 161 partial uploaded .on the next pass orbit # 1206 Wisp try to upload what left from the file but the sever on satellite denied existance of file # 161 !! and shift to upload the next file #162 (see 2nd photo) Again the Directory was empty ??? I uploaded 2 or 3 messages yesterday and 1 messages today file # 160 . As you can see this in the photo #2 .The satellite was accepted the file. Hi All Another go for Pacsat with software. This time Wisp with Multipsk ver 4.16 Wisp Keying Multipsk via VSPE virtual connector port . So far TX line was testing. Wisp--Multipsk--soundcard Setup Create a Connector virtual com using VSPE software Wisp --com 1 Multipsk serial port for kiss -- com 1 On Multipsk TX/RX screen choose--Packet APRS On Multipsk TX/R screen click kiss icon. Run a pass! Click fill. MSPE will send a packet to Multipsk TX/RX screen and through the soundcard. Again I'm waiting for a bird . [amsat-bb] Wisp Keying MixW direct via virtual connector
I was trying to work with a pair of virtual ports to connect Wisp and Mixw! The com pair failed to connect these software!!! I found the virtual connector device at Virtual Serial port Emulator program (VSPE) can do this task nicely . Wisp send packet to MixW and Mixw send it to soundcard and keying the Rig via existing port. So the Tx line is working well between Wisp-- MixW-- Soundcard-- Rig The next step is to test the Rx line between Rig-- Soundcard-- MixW-- Wisp. So with out Hardware TNC could it works?!! I Hope other station sharing with their downloaded Dir info! I'm still confused !! You mention in you previous post : (I then switched to voice mode with PL=67 Hz, and then tried again and the directory came screaming down) ! do you mean the tone was on when you request the Dir??!! COM1 COM2 COM4 COM5 WISP ---COM1 (TNC-2 selected on wisp) ONLINEKISS INPUT --- COM2 ONLINEKISS OUTPUT --- COM 5 MIXW EMULATION TNC---COM4 Result:- Wisp keying the Mixw and gave out a brust of digital packet frams througth the soundcard. The photo I’ve paint and uploaded carried a QST message to save Forest and Trees. More useful meaning to BBS in time of fast DSL The Directory was empty! I wish to receive a reply soon. Really FM killing the packet or vice versa . I'm lucky coz I'm here in quiet Africa. (Not so quiet, Not so lucky with DXCC ) The all-week, one-mode Schedule should give a chance to many hams to read and upload their messages before deleted by OBC. .
