Thanks raphael i looked the code of snake project in the sdk i got the idea to create the custom control... which matches my requirement. Please look at SDK/platform/android-1.5/samples/LunarLander -- it does that and should be easy to understand. There are also various custom View in the ApiDemoes sample code.
