[android-developers] black png with Android Screenshot Library

2015-03-16 Thread Jonathan Chacón Barbero
Hello,

I am using Android Screenshot Library to take screenshots from a service but
the png files are black in all cases.

Can anyone help me to fix this problem? I followed the demo folder from ASL to
develop the ASL function

Regards
Jonathan Chacón

Hi.

Did you set android.permission.INTERNET permission?

 What can be the reason? Is it only because I have not put the prepare

 You should have to use
 http://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/MediaPlayer.html#setDataSource%28java.lang.String%29

 you would need prepareAsync too

 Hi,

 Few other developers have asked this question before, I checked those
 posts. But looks like I have a different issue here.
 I am using Android Developer Studio 1.0.1 sitting on JRE 1,7 (on a
 windows laptop).

 I am developing an App around a live streaming audio, using MediaPlayer
 class.
 If I place the URL in browser, which looks like,
 http://something.org.uk:8000/blah.mp3, the URL woks/plays perfectly
 fine from the browser.

 But my code
 mediaPlayer = MediaPlayer.create(MainActivity.this, Uri.parse(
 http://something.org.uk:8000/blah.mp3;));
 mediaPlayer.setAudioStreamType(AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC);
 mediaPlayer.start();

 gives exception

[android-developers] how to bring paid users outside of Google Play into Google Play

2015-03-16 Thread guruk
Hi there,
i have lots of Users who got a PRO version of my app by download from my
server as at the time I couldnt put it into the market as my country was
not in the list of countries who could offer that (because of checkout)

Now i changed the Country and can offer Paid Apps.

But how would I offer my old Paid Users the Pro App in Google Play for
free, so they dont have to purchase again?

example:
free Version is:   com.chris.myapp.free
they downloaded before: com.chris.myapp.pro from my server.

Now I would offer the same pro package name in Google Play.
But i dont think they would get automatically updates from Google Play as
they didnt paid there, right?

Any Ideas, to make it right, so they dont have to pay again?

Thanks
Chris
