Hi Abdul
Firstly check whether your controller is getting the request if yes then go
through your log to check if there is some syntax error in query while
inserting into table.

[android-developers] Re: 3d technology may be the future development trend

2015-12-07 Thread rayray
I don't think 3D is ended. It is true that after HTC and LG there are few
people care about 3D technology. But that doesn't mean 3D stands still. You
can totally find new 3D phones on the market. For example, vkworld
Discovery S1 and S2. It is a Chinese fast-growing brand. And these two
phones feature a FHD resolution free-eye 3D display and gorgeous design. If
interseted, you can totally check them out.

Can anyone help me fix the AVD setting white screen?

Any answer would be highly appreciated!

[android-developers] Removing permissions after publishing, using an updated manifest

2015-12-07 Thread Frederic Depuydt
Hi,

I'm trying to remove a permissions my app required before from future
releases. But removing it from the manifest apparently isn't enough.
In my initial release my app required the android.permission.WAKE_LOCK.

My current release doesn't need the WAKE_LOCK anymore so i removed it from
the manifest. But it's still in my required permission list when I publish
my updated apk.

Am I missing something? Or is it impossible to remove permissions after a
publication?

Kind regards,
Frederic Depuydt

[android-developers] Connecting as a BluetoothGattServer as a peripheral

2015-12-07 Thread אורי פופקו
Hello,

I am using the code in
http://blog.csdn.net/u013606170/article/details/46038283 to create an app
that will behave as a BLE peripheral. I am using a Nexus 6, in which the
use of BluetoothLeAdvertiser is enabled.

My device manages to advertise itself. I can see it both on a desktop
(windows 10) and in another Android smartphone. When I try to pair I get
the following:

1- from Windows 10 I get no indication on my server side of the pairing
request. The pairing fails after a long while, without any notice.
2- from the other Android - I get a pairing notification on the server side
with a message that I should enter a given passkey on the other device. I
enter the passkey on the other device and the pairing fails with a message
that the passkey is wrong. Of course, I tried this many times just to be
sure that I enter the right passkey.

Any clue what the problem is, or how can I debug it? The failure report is
on the client side, and I only implemented the server side, so I don't know
how to check what the problem is. Unfortunately, it seems that there is
very little information in the Android developer side how to use
BluetoothGattServer or BluetoothLEAdvertiser, and there is no information
at all how to manage pairing request in this mode of use.

Thank you for any help or hint,
Ouri.

I'd think a more effective solution is google cardboard... so every
device after those :)
reading about those you'd have to have very exact positioning to take
advantage... otherwise you'd get horrible crossover... or any slight
tilt; can see why they haven't been continued.
