[android-developers] Re: SDK installation problem, NSIS error, installer integrity problem

2016-03-26 Thread officialkibbi
I have the same problem, even when I disable Symantec Endpoint for
downloads, and pass /NCRC in the command line. I have a Dell Inspiron 15
running Windows 7.

[android-developers] Create PDF document with links inside

2016-03-26 Thread Ruben Fernandez
Hello!

I'm using the PdfDocument classes to create a PDF inside my app. This is
working very well so far.
Now I need to add a "Table of contents" to the PDF created but I cannot
find any way using this PdfDocument to write links pointing to other pages
inside this PDF. Is this possible? How could I have a Table of contents
inside this PDF with links to all sections of the document?

Kind regards!

Ok, I think this is working. The thing seems fragile, but it appears the
resolution is higher. I can see the metadata now, and the resolution
metadata is higher than it used to be, and the video looks that way. Doing
this without the information in that javadoc emphasizes how careful you
have to be in the ordering of these things. I was also getting some
occurrences of "Method called after release()". I looked at some of the
fixes for this, but they also seemed unreliable. In any case, I stopped
seeing that error.

The Google Play App Review team accepts advance notice about your upcoming

We only accept advance notice in the following scenario(s):

[android-developers] Re: Camcorder app produces video that is out of focus, and upside down

2016-03-26 Thread gjs
Hi,

To check the video metadata / properties I'd transfer the .mp4 video
file(s) you have recorded with your app from your Android device to a PC,
then use VLC ( http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html ) and select Media
Information->Code Details and examine the Resolution values.

High Quality / resolution would be 1920x1080 or better and Low quality
would be something like 640x480 or less, the exact values will depend on
the Android device used for your video recordings...

 I'd suggest waiting a little after starting the Camera Preview before
 initiating a call to autofocus, say 500ms to 1 second, this is to give the
 camera some time to settle after it has just been opened.

 I'd also suggest that you do this asynchronously, eg -

 // Need handler for callbacks to the UI thread
 final Handler mHandler = new Handler();

 mHandler.postDelayed(new Runnable()
 {
@Override
public void run()
{
   doAutoFocus(..
}
