Re: [android-developers] Testing local currencies
Yes, I think you're right and I need to clarify my question. Currency of the payment method in my example is currency of credit card (CAD), payment method is something defined here - http://i-cdn.phonearena.com/images/articles/191995-image/Now-you-can-add-a-payment-method-by-tapping-on-the-corresponding-button..jpg I was trying to say that payment method and locale are completely independent things, so changing device locale will not affect payment method currency. My question is - how android developer located in country X with local currency Y can test in app billing with local currency for non X contries, I mean this dialog - https://ttselectrical.custhelp.com/euf/assets/images/kb/Hudl/Microtransactions/PurchaseWarning.png 2016-05-13 22:07 GMT+03:00 TreKing <treking...@gmail.com>: > > On Thu, May 12, 2016 at 3:28 PM, Александр Метельский < > sasha.metel...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> No, it's wrong way. Re: [android-developers] Testing local currencies
No, it's wrong way. For example I can live in Canada, have credit card with canadian dollars and speak Chinese (and switch device locale to Chinese). Currency of your payment method will override your locale. 2016-05-12 18:54 GMT+03:00 TreKing <treking...@gmail.com>: > > On Wed, May 11, 2016 at 3:11 AM, Александр Метельский < > sasha.metel...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Do you know supposed or easier way to test this? > > > Change your device locale? > > > - > TreKing <http://sites.google.com/site/rezmobileapps/treking> - Chicago > transit tracking app for Android-powered devices > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to a topic in the > Google Groups "Android Developers" group. > To unsubscribe from this topic, visit > https://groups.google.com/d/topic/android-developers/jnRtEB4EUBg/unsubscribe > . > To unsubscribe from this group and all its topics, send an email to > android-developers+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > To post to this group, send email to android-developers@googlegroups.com. > Visit this group at https://groups.google.com/group/android-developers. > To view this discussion on the web visit > https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/android-developers/CANCScgjoQsDM3%3DYb4AHmyRYC2KE9CL0L5qJBHkT-b2ZAXtKyZQ%40mail.gmail.com > <https://groups.google.com/d/msgid/android-developers/CANCScgjoQsDM3%3DYb4AHmyRYC2KE9CL0L5qJBHkT-b2ZAXtKyZQ%40mail.gmail.com?utm_medium=email_source=footer> > . > > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group. [android-developers] Testing local currencies
Hi everyone, I can not find easy way to test local currency support in my application. For now I'm using this way: - config VPN of needed country on router - connect android to router - uninstall app - reboot android - install app by VPN Do you know supposed or easier way to test this? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
