[android-developers] setWallpaper(Bitmap bitmap) just sets default background?
Hey I've got a bug report for an app of mine where the setWallpaper() call does not seem to work. Usually when an exception occurs in the call I catch it and show a toast saying an error occurred while setting wallpaper but for this one person (HTC Desire running 2.1) there is no exception and the wallpaper gets set to the phones default wallpaper. I have no idea what the problem is and have not observed this myself. Thanks for your input fellas! I'v just put in flurry and admob in and will update in in a week...hopefully all goes well. Is anyone willing to share actual figures on what they are making from the ads and with what active installs (even if they are not worth mentioning)? What ad provider your using, etc ? Just about anything that would be helpful to someone like me that has absolutely no idea. [android-developers] When is a right time to start placing ads in app (share your experience)
I have just recently released my free app into the market and was wondering when is a good time to start placing ads in the app? Should I put it straight from the beginning? I'm thinking maybe when the downloads gets to 5000 but these are numbers I'm pulling out of thin air so I would love for some of you guys to share your experience with placing ads in your app. When did you place ads in your app? What kind of revenue was/is it making? And any tips for someone that has no idea where to start?
