Thanks for the reply Marcin and Kumar. I'm actually working on an app
that uses google maps so I kind of want to test it in the real world
as I've been getting a few complaints from users about the maps not
working or my app not working as expected. Since any phone would do I
guess I can just get an android phone from either Rogers, Bell, Telus
or who ever else is offering an android phone.

 I'd start with just android simulator (which is part of SDK). Unless
 you really need real device, simulator is good to get started.

hey fellow Canucks,

I was wondering if it was worth it to actually get either of the
android developer phones? They seem a little pricey and I was
wondering if I could get away with (or if its even possible) testing
on a non-developer phone (e.g. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 offered by
rogers)?
