I understand that there is no way to get notification of outgoing text being sent, but is there any way to disable text messaging facility On Jan 5, 10:48 am, debnath68 debnat...@gmail.com wrote: Hi sunny25, AKAIK there is an intent for received sms which will be broadcasted when a sms is received to the phone and you can get it via BroadcastReceiver. But there is no intent for sent sms which should broadcast when a sms sent. In this regard I can suggest you to use contentProvider with this URI : content://sms/sent for get sent sms by checking manually. thanks, mitu On Jan 4, 11:49 am, Sunny25 hi2sunn...@gmail.com wrote: Hi guys, I can get notification ofoutgoingcall using PhoneStateListener. Hi guys, I was trying to find a way to get notification when outgoing sms is sent by user, but I guess there is no way to get notification for the same. But now I want to disable to sms functionality when some other even occurs. Is there any api in android 1.5 which helps to disable outgoing text facility and then allow to enable it again.
