[android-developers] Available space is more than total space on the memory card

I recently purchased a 16 GB memory card. But my android shows available 
space is more than Total Space and when I try to install a new app it says 
insufficient memory.

[android-developers] Why an application works during debugging but doesn't work on run?

 This app  connects Bluetooth printer from 2 activities . First activity 
works correctly. BT printer reference send to second activity by below 
mentioned code.

(on-destroy,finish, is Finishing) and without press back button?

[android-developers] App targeted for non armv7 devices

Hai all,
We are working in an android project in which we are using a third party
scanning library. We got the information from that third party that they
compiled their scanning library for ARM v7. We have uploaded the app to the
market and working fine for the devices with ARMv7.
Our app has to support from android 2.2 to latest version. There are some
devices without armv7.
To support the non-armv7 devices, we removed the third party scan library
and also removed all the related things from manifest file. According to
goolge play mulitple apk support,(
http://developer.android.com/guide/google/play/publishing/multiple-apks.html)
we build different apks and uploaded with different configuration
parameters for minSdkVersion uses-feature.
We expect those devices without ARM v7 would get this package. But the
Google market says both the packages are targeted for the same users. And
also it warned that one of the package will be ignored and won’t be served
to the users.
But those users without ARM v7 are getting the message that ‘Your device
isn’t compatible with this version’ and also for those users, the app is
not even displaying when searching for our app.
We have searched a lot in the blogs and many sites, but we are not getting
any details on how to get the multiple packages work for.
Kindly assist us how to create an app which is targeted for non-ARM v7
devices.
We are using Eclipse for our development and for creating the builds and we
are developing with Java base.

[android-developers] Android ViewPager invalidate() not working

Hai all,
I've just started with android development and invalidate the ViewPager is
really bugging me :/

Can someone tell me how can i invalidate the ViewPager while changing the
orientation.

This is what I've tried so far -

public void onConfigurationChanged(Configuration newConfig) {
super.onConfigurationChanged(newConfig);

 myPager = (ViewPager) findViewById(R.id.my_pager);
 myPager.setAdapter(adapter);
 myPager.setCurrentScreen(currentPosition, false);

The above code is working fine when attached debugging. But it is not
working on runtime (without debug mode). I have also tried with sleep but
no changes on view.

Can someone explain in detail what is happening here?

[android-developers] Server response

am having a button in the activity (button) ...if i click the button then
it fetches data from the server .if data is sucess then i has to show toast
as sucess...after if i click button while fetching data from the server if
net or wifi disconnect then it has to show (wifi or net disconnect
toast)...it sis working fine..


After disconnecting and connecting the wifi or net (not changing the
Activity just in the mobile making wifi disable and enable) ...now here
the wifi is enabled but iam getting the toast as wifi or net disconnected
..instead of the Sucess Message.

Hi

I am developing an application for android phone, In this I need to use at
least 100 audio file which can be played for some respective texts, Now my
question is which is the optimized way to do this.. One solution is putting
all the audio files in the resource folder and referring from there, this
will never be a feasible solution as the application size will increase. Is
there any way to convert the audio file into some format and dump into the
SQLite database and retrieve flexibly.

  i am able to get the data from the server.the parsed data i has to show

list ..am able to show in the text field but am unable to show in the list

V = Video bitrate in KB/s, to get kbit/s multiply with 8*°*.

*°1024 = 1 kilo in the computer world.*

Example
90 minutes video, L = 90 x 60 = 5 400 seconds
700 MB CD but be sure that if fits use a bit lower like 695 MB, S = 695 x
1024 = 711 680 KB
Audio bitrate, A = 224 kbit/s / 8 = 28 KB/s

(711 680 - (5400 x 28) ) / 5400 = 104 KB/s x 8*°* = 830 kbit/s.
