[android-developers] Tablet Application Support

I have developed the application in android2.1. its working fine in
small screens,normal screens and also large screens for this i have
added the following code in manifest file

supports-screens
android:anyDensity=true
android:largeScreens=true
android:normalScreens=true
android:resizeable=true
android:smallScreens=true 
/supports-screens
but,its not supporting xlarge screens means when i run my code in
tablets the text and images sizes are lokking very small. please help
me to resolve this.

[android-developers] Working with WiFi

Hi

I want to create a Wifi application for android which can scan and
connect to particular access point( when you click on that
Accesspoint). Up to now I created a Listview which can show list of
access points. now by clicking on anyone network( Item) I want to
connect to it.
what I have to do now for connecting or adding network??

Please help me
I am unable to find references for creating Wifi Application for
anroid.

[android-developers] How to Show a pdf file in Android Emulator?

Hi All,

Can anyone please suggest me how to show a pdf file or Text file in
Android Emulator while developing an application?

I have one more question. When I created a sample for Video Player
(Which needs to play Video files), In Android Emulator 2.1 and 2.2 I
am not able to view the video but can able to hear Audio.But when I
Opened the same with Android Emulator with version 1.5 I am able to
view Video.
Can anyone specify why it is happening?

Can I able to view these videos in Real Android Device??

[android-developers] How to change network service permission without modifying init.rc file

Hi,

I have a requirement to change network service permission(such as netd
to 660 or something similar) for my application in order to access
certain features. I dont want to edit init.rc file to make such
changes. Since my application cannot be run in root mode, is there any
alternative solution where i could do such modifications from my
application point of view. Please help me !!!

This error can be resolve by setting proper proxy.
