Job Title: SAP Security Consultant (ONSITE DAY ONE) Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey Duration: 6 Months Plus Job Summary Deep technical knowledge of SAP security functions and business platform; knowledge of policies, procedures, best practices, role-based authorization methodologies, SAP related authentication technologies, and SAP related security administration systems. Familiar with SAP’s note, customer message and knowledge portal. Roles & Responsibilities Builds and maintain SAP user profiles across the SAP Landscape and provides authorization consulting support to project and business managers. Responsible for troubleshooting and solving highly technical and complex problems across the SAP landscape as it relates to security authorizations; recommends improvements to strategy, application usage, or process, applying knowledge of the business processes in various functional areas with overall security requirements. Manage SAP security aspect of multiple ongoing and new development projects through consulting, design, develop, test, implement and production support. Liaise with SAP functional teams (Basis, HR, FI, BI, ABAP, PI, PORTAL) for technical support. Performs security reviews of the SAP systems, and participates in audit and compliance activities. Performs security infrastructure support for large landscape in Dev, QA, Pre-production and Production environments. Experience and Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or related discipline, equivalent experience acceptable. At least 2 -5 years in-depth experience with SAP authorizations. Experience in establishing, provisioning and maintaining SAP user profiles, Central User Administrator, BI, PI, HR, FI, Insurance, MM and SAP Enterprise Portal experience preferred. Knowledge of Security practices, processes and issues. Knowledge of system life cycle methodologies and procedures; ability to monitor and tune the SAP user roles and system security parameters; experience providing 24x7 support to a global enterprise and very strong communications skills. Strong customer service skills and ability to diplomatically manage client expectations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
