Re: [android-developers] Problem with application launch on emulator

2011-01-06 Thread Ajay Prabandham
Hi,
Actually, i am first attempting to test my app on the SDK emulator.
I haven't yet tested it on hardware. Does anyone have an idea about how to
solve the problem on the emulator? Is there a directory on the
phone/emulator where new applications (.apk files) are copied by default?

Any input would be greatly appreciated...

Regards,
Ajay

Re: [android-developers] Problem with application launch on emulator

2011-01-05 Thread John Lussmyer
I noticed this happening for me when I had added the icon after testing the
app a few times.
I had to uninstall the app from the phone/emulator - then the next time I
launched it the icon was correct.

I am developing a GUI based app for Android API 9 SDK on my
windows PC (Using Eclipse SDK and ADT plugin). I have successfully compiled
the sources, and when i run the command to launch the emulator, the .apk
