Not sure what you mean, what exactly is complicated? It might help if you explained what you're trying to do more clearly. I *think* there is a way of accessing folders and files that are bundled with your apk. However, I think there are some restrictions as to what you can do with them. Ah, then try checking: file:///android_asset I *believe* this gets converted in the app to the path of your resource folder.
