How about trying to put the data in through the API rather than the command
line tool? Who knows what in the world is happening to your text as it goes
through your desktop terminal, adb, the shell session, and the sqlite3
command.

hi guys,
I'm sorry about ask this question again,
I know that sqlite store format is UTF-8,
so I will describe the whole process that I used sqlite.
first I create a table named map by shell mode in the emulator,
# sqlite create table map ( id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY,chinese_word TEXT
NOT NULL,
en_word TEXT NOT NULL);
second, insert a record by shell mode in the emulator,
# sqlit insert into map values (1,CHINESE WORD,hello);
then, there are two spinner in my app and retrieve column
chinese_word, en_word
by sql query.
finally in my app, the first spinner shows RANDOM CODE,
and second spinner shows correct word hello.
so, can somebody tell me how can I solve for that
I really appreciate.
