*Job Description:*



•   2+ years of strong software engineering experience (Java and
Spring with preference to high-transaction environments)

•   5+ years Performance testing and tuning experience.

•   Great understanding of memory and CPU utilization, throughput,
latency, etc. Experience with profiling and heap analysis tools

•   Good understanding of Linux, Solaris, JVMs

•   Knowledge of using commercial and/or open source performance
tools. Preference NewRelic.

•   Knowledge of performance tools like JProfiler, JProbe, etc.
along with familiarity with web load-simulation tools desired.

•   Self-motivated, able to learn and research issues independently
with a keen eye to details

•   Must be passionate about wanting to make the software
performance better

•   Good analytical and problem solving skills



Responsibilities

•   Analyzing performance results from load/stress tests and
provides comprehensive reporting and works closely with solution
architects, developers to log defects for performance requirements that are
not met.

•   Assist with researching Performance-related tickets

•   Build and maintain framework(s) to benchmark application
performance across all layers of the application stack

•   Build a framework to shift-left performance assessment to
provide application developers with early insights on how to improve their
application performance.

•   Creates and maintains functionality of optimized performance
scripts for monthly/weekly testing.

•   Evaluate Development code using Profilers and identifying
Performance bottlenecks.
