i think u might have to link the eclipse with android sdk u can do tht by going to help- software updates- under add site add the local archive browse to point it to ur adt unzipped then right click install and restart ur eclipse now u might get ur preferences thing 2009/4/19 ajk azamjalalk...@gmail.com Hi all, Please bear with me and help me out. I have followed all the steps required to develop Android applications on my Windows..using Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede). - Installed Java SDK 5.0 - Downloaded Eclipse 3.4 - Downloaded Android SDK 1.1_r1 - Got the ADT plugin for Eclipse by HelpSoftware Update http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ - Restarted Eclipse... **Problem** - Go to Windows Preferences I should see Android in the left panel so I can set the paths. For some reason I do not see thisI dont see Android in the left panel... I have tried everythingbut cant figure it out. Initially, I thought this could be because the Envoirment variables are not set correctly. In these forums its suggested to set the Path variable to point to Android-sdk-windows-1.1_r1/tools. When I do this and try to start Eclipse...it says cannot find java virtual machine so then I have set the path variable as such Path: C:\Windows\System32\;C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Dev\android-sdk-windows-1.1_r1\tools Still I can't see Android in the Eclipse preferences... please suggest what can be done to fix this...Thank you so much in advance... Re: Emulator v1.5
Hi Noah, It looks like the Java API used by the Android tool to return the home user folder properly found it in D:\... However, the C API used by the emulator seems to return the wrong one (using the default C:\User\XXX) We'll have to see if/how we can fix this. From the path you mention, I'm guessing you are running Vista? Were the AVD files properly located under home/.android/.avd/ at least? thanks Xav On Sun, Apr 19, 2009 at 11:14 AM, Noah noahcol...@gmail.com wrote: I am having the same issue. I copied the files to C: where it's expecting them and I guess I'll have to remember that when running commands. Should also probably be a bug to look into. The SDK in on D as is my Users directory. Re: SBC integration license issue in BlueZ/Android
I do see the GPL license. That's bizarre. I was under the impression that the entire android tree has to be provided with the Apache license. Maybe someone from Google can confirm. Just fyi...PacketVideo has provided their version of the SBC encoder already as part of OpenCORE [external/opencore/codecs_v2/audio/sbc]. -Ravi On Apr 20, 12:13 am, Andy Quan androidr...@gmail.com wrote: Hi, As far as I remember, BlueZ is released under GPL license. Is this the same in android? If so, does this mean if I want to integrate my customized SBC encoder lib into this framework, I have to make my encoder open source? -- Thanks, Andy --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups android-framework group.
