Stupid GMAIL My question was about SIPDROID on GTA02 it's currently crashing the second it goes to open the audio devices, so I was wondering if anyone had any specific thoughts as to why it may be doing this, if there's anything funny about the freerunner's audio in comparison to a regular android phone. I'm running Trimarchi's latest image (Michael, you make a good Android image) Any hints would be nice! Can you give some hint about configuration? I'm using PBXes.org, I can connect and everything looks fine (WIFI Connection), but the thing just crashes before I make a call. It send the SIP initiation commands, and then I get a beautiful android crash screen. Perhaps it's the audio codecs and not the audio devices? I'm unsure, but I never got far enough to check the codecs, or have problems with them. I have very simple configuration information for PBXES, infact I haven't changed much outside the defaults. What's your Codec problem? Mismatch of the codecs? Freerunner can't compress/decompress the streams fast enough. I was trying to get SIP working on Debian with Twinkle or Linphone and It took some fiddling with the codecs before I got a working set that could actually keep pace on the Freerunner. I have the information still on my other SD card, I'll see if I can get that for you. But I don't see any options in SIPDROID for different codecs, unless it's in a config file on the backend, nothing in the UI. What version of SipDroid are you running? I got their latest 5 days ago.
