Yes, but sorry, until then people shall live with an unhappy situation? 2007-feed - running, but old packages and many applications are missing (lioke wireshark and some more), not usable for real production use 2088-feed - applications are there, but an upgrade breaks whole system, not expecting a bit much for use, I think 2009-feed (unstable) - applications are there, but of course all is unstable. This is o.k. for working in it. So what? IMO merge 2007-feed and 2008-feed to get a productive system and one feed for testing purposes. Look at debian, that is the way, it should be done! And they got experimental, too! Sorry, but your suggestion is IMO the wrong way.
