Re: [animata-users] Animata used in my new animation
Hi, Thanks a lot for the comments. The vidvox forum has a post on how to compile Animata for Mac, but personally I've had problems when trying to build from the Xcode project. http://www.vidvox.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3188 If you also have problems, try doing this: - Follow the instructions up to number 4 - Then in Terminal run these two commands: cd ~/animata-read-only scons --app I also uploaded the latest Mac version to my server: http://originalhamsters.com/downloads/animata/Animata-0.004.dmg This should work on all Intel Macs running Leopard. Don't know about Tiger. Please test this and let me know if it works or not. Sorry, I have no idea how to compile Animata on a PC. The list has some instructions for Linux somewhere. -Matti On Apr 8, 2009, at 8:59 PM, Andre Hayter wrote: Hi All, i second the compliments to Matti: the animation, the visual style, the editing, including the way you handled the sound was all exquisite, Bravo. I just completed a new animation and Animata played a really big role in the production. Almost all of the character animation was done with Animata controlled by Max/MSP. http://originalhamsters.com/blog/2009/04/08/product-placement/ -Matti ___ animata-users mailing list animata-users@lists.kitchenbudapest.hu http://lists.kitchenbudapest.hu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/animata-users ___ animata-users mailing list animata-users@lists.kitchenbudapest.hu http://lists.kitchenbudapest.hu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/animata-users ___ animata-users mailing list animata-users@lists.kitchenbudapest.hu http://lists.kitchenbudapest.hu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/animata-users ___ animata-users mailing list animata-users@lists.kitchenbudapest.hu http://lists.kitchenbudapest.hu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/animata-users
