schedule page for ApacheCon EU2012 not clear

2012-11-05 Thread Aki Yoshida
Hi,
I am looking for the schedule page that has information about the
schedule outside of the main talk sessions such as the registration
time, opening session time, etc. The current schedule page
http://www.apachecon.eu/schedule/ does not include this information.
I wanted to know when the registration starts on Tuesday and what is
planned at 8:30 as plenary. Is this part of the opening session? I am
looking for something like last year's schedule page
http://na11.apachecon.com/tag/main.

Could someone update the schedule page with this information or point
me to the page that has this information if I missed it?

Thanks.
regards, aki

Re: Anyone able to organise a GPG keysigning party on the Tuesday?

2012-10-30 Thread Aki Yoshida
Hi Nick,
If no one else volunteers, I could offer my help with this.

I participated in last year's event and got my key signed. I remember
the procedure at the event but I am not really comfortable with the
technical preparation part, which I have not done. So, if I do this, I
would have to ask someone to help me make sure that I am doing that
part right.

regards, aki

 Anyone? We need one person who'll be at the conference, who's able to help
 out for about 20-30 minutes in advance collecting keys and printing the list
 out, and 20 minutes in the evening. Someone, please?

 Nick

 At ApacheCon, we normally have a GPG keysigning event, to help build out
 the Apache Web Of Trust. These events have often been kindly run by Sander
 Temme, but I believe he's not able to make it to Sinsheim, so we're looking
 for a new volunteer!

 Running a keysigning party is pretty easy, and is documented:
 * http://wiki.apache.org/apachecon/PgpKeySigning
 * http://www.apache.org/dev/openpgp.html

 Would someone like to volunteer to organise the event on the Tuesday
 night? I expect Sander can offer some advice if the resources online aren't
 enough for some reason.

 Thanks
 Nick

 Great, thanks!

 Sander might be able to help, I'd suggest you read through the information
 online:

 * http://wiki.apache.org/apachecon/PgpKeySigning
 * http://www.apache.org/dev/openpgp.html

 Then give Sander a shout if you need help after following that. You'll want
 to update the PgpKeySigning wiki page for this event. I'd suggest you hold
 the key signing at about 7.30pm on the Tuesday, at the end of the welcome
 reception

 Thanks!

Re: ACEU - Can anyone bring an A3 printer?

2012-10-25 Thread Aki Yoshida
Hi Nick,
Have you talked to Paul about this? I thought we could find find a
printer to borrow for the duration..

 Anyone? Surely someone must be both driving to the conference, and have
 access to a printer we could borrow? Someone...?

 Hi All

 I guess this is mostly for those who live nearby and are planning to drive
 to the conference

 Does anyone have an A3 printer that they could bring with them? Or failing
 that, an A4 one?

 We're trying to get most things printed in advance, but there are always
 last minute signs needed, notices wanted, changes to display etc. For that,
 we'll need a printer on site which we can use to print those out once
 they're realised. Would someone who's driving be able to bring one along
 that we could use?

 Thanks
 Nick
