Jon- In New Jersey we have used it more on grapes for powdery mildew and 
botrytis rot with good results, usually combined with another fungicide.

In your UMASS recs online table 54 its rated ++ for the same.

[Apple-Crop] DNA genotype sequence for new Plant patents with Phytelligence

There is another private based company, Phytelligence (www.phytelligence.com) 
which offers inexpensive, and rapid plant genetic analysis services for variety 
confirmation all the way through whole genome sequencing for new variety patent 
bolstering. 

They have a full genetics lab at their Pullman, WA facility. They are a spinout 
company from Washington State University and they offer DNA certified true to
