Re: [arch-general] perl update leaves glade-perl unused, but glade-perl still a dependency of qemu-launcher?
qemu-launcher is in the AUR, so it doesn't look like it has been updated yet.
Re: [arch-general] Linux-api-headers out of date (4.17 vs 5.0)
Just guessing, but looking at the comment "linux-api-headers->glibc->binutils->gcc->binutils->glibc" and the dates that these packages are rebuilt on, it seems like the work to update linux-api-headers is substantial.

I used pretty much the same model that the arch package search uses. Re: [arch-general] Dropbox requires setup each time I boot
Are you using the dropbox aur package? If not, it might be worth trying that. Your permissions look to be the same as the ones I have locally. drwx-- 6 joel users4096 Sep 20 14:28 .dropbox drwxr-xr-x 3 joel users4096 Sep 12 18:33 .dropbox-dist Joel
Re: [arch-general] Location of the pacman database
Generally, things that are written to are not stored in /usr. This page might help https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/arch_filesystem_hierarchy
Re: [arch-general] svntogit stuck
packages.git looks fine to me now, but community.git is still stuck.
