Hi, I think it should be as follows. When a person because a developer for the first time create a repo for him. Whenever he is invited to a project then clone the project into his repo. So basically we will have to clone the complete project to into his repo. When you say copy is it clone - then comes cloning a clone When you say merge is it a git merge - the directions are reversed If that the case guys - some people don't use the forking model.
