Thank you. Yes, I see it in the pop up window. It just seemed so odd to me that 
it wouldn’t display with the rest of the notes.

I’m sure there’s a very good reason for the extra overhead. Maybe I’ll try to 
write a lightweight plugin to insert that note in with all his friends. Thanks 
for your responses and the link to that ticket. I read it the same way as 
“except preferred citation.” Not sure why PC gets singled out the way it is. 
Maybe one of those great mysteries of life.

Confirming that if I click the Citation button/book icon in the PUI, I see what

That's how ours is -- the preferred citation only appears when you click
the "Citation" button at the top of the page. It doesn't have its own
heading in the main part of the page.
