[arin-announce] Call for Petitions: ARIN Board and Advisory Council

ARIN has announced the initial slate of candidates, and is now calling 
for any additional nominations to the Board of Trustees and Advisory 
Council through the petition process. In accordance with Article VIII, 
Section 2.b. of the ARIN Bylaws, any individual, regardless of 
membership status, may petition to be placed on the ballot for election 
to the Board of Trustees or Advisory Council by successfully completing 
the ARIN petition process.


Petition requests must be received by 12 September 2014. To be 
considered a candidate, each petitioner must obtain the support of at 
least 82 Designated Member Representatives from general members in good 
standing (two percent of eligible voters as of nominations opening). 
Petition support must be received by 26 September 2014. Details about

of Trustees or Advisory Council, please send an email to i...@arin.net 
with your name, phone number, and organization affiliation.


ARIN will announce the final slate of candidates for the Board of 
Trustees and Advisory Council on 29 September. ARIN general members in 
good standing will be asked to vote for two candidates in the Board 
election and seven in the Advisory Council election, held online October 
9 – October 19.

call for nominations to the Board of Trustees and Advisory Council

considered a candidate, each petitioner must obtain the support of at 
least 71 Designated Member Representatives from general members in good

through a petition process. In accordance with Article VIII, Section

Petition requests must be received by Tuesday 7 September, 2010. To be
considered a candidate, each petitioner must obtain the support of at
least 70 designated member representatives from General Members in good
standing. Petition support must be received by Tuesday, 21 September
