Anyone else interested in getting some made up? Any ideas on design?

Even stickers are a good Idea.

[fedora-arm] Fedora 15 ARM hardfp Virtual FAD (Fedora Activity Day) - TODAY

2011-06-10 Thread Jon Masters
Hi Folks,

We are hosting a Fedora 15 hardfp Virtual Fedora Activity Day today, at
14:00UTC (10:00 Eastern Daylight Time). The purpose of this session is
to co-ordinate the bootstrap of F15 hardfp (hardware floating point).

You can find a lot more detail here, along with all the pre-reqs/bits:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Architectures/ARM/Fedora15_HardFP_Bootstrap_Virtual_FAD_20110610

Ugh I don't think that would be allowed with Fedora Logo.

[fedora-arm] F15 package dependency graph

2011-06-10 Thread Jonathan Chiappetta
Hey team,

Sorry I've been late/slow to reply here, this is my first post and had
temporarily unsubscribed from the mailing list so I couldn't post. Anyway,
I've been working with Chris on the styrene project which is supposed to help
with the build process as much as it can. Right now it is able to populate an
SQL DB with PA srpms and their deps, find deps that have 0+ deps satisfied and
attempt to build them and then provide an HTML style visual output for the
user so they can see what packages are built, ready, waiting or in error. The
project can be found in git at the following address:

 http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=arm.git;a=summary

Sorry again for being late here, just been really busy working out the
bugs/features.

Cool thought! I'll sure join when some are available to order.

ARM on the sleeve made me smile :D

Personally I'm not creative enough to create a design or come up with
something. I'll throw the topic in some conversations and maybe I find
 someone with ideas.
There are some designs available here:

The Arm on the sleeve gave me a chuckle too. If we did StrongARM, Then
you could just use the big muscled arm logo they have, with a fedora
logo tattoo on it and a couple of small penguins rolling down the
bicep muscle hill.

why genesi doesnt make a stand for fedora-arm at fudcon ?

[fedora-arm] remaining F15 hardfp bootstrap dependencies

2011-06-10 Thread DJ Delorie

Based on what we've got built and what we want to have built, I wrote
a perl script to rpm -qp --requires all the remaining SRPMs and try
to group them according to what could be built next based on resolved

Re: [fedora-arm] remaining F15 hardfp bootstrap dependencies

2011-06-10 Thread David A. Marlin

DJ:

I'm not sure if I'm just missing something, but when I tried to build
audit (source package that includes audit-libs) I encountered the
following build dependencies (beyond what were already installed on the
panda boards):

  swig
  python-devel
  tcp_wrappers-devel
  libcap-ng-devel
  openldap-devel
  libprelude-devel

These in turn required additional dependencies of their own:

  cyrus-sasl
  cyrus-sasl-devel
  gnutls-devel
  libcap-ng-devel
  libgcrypt-devel
  libgpg-error-devel
  libprelude
  tcp_wrappers-devel

While some of these are on the list (below), others are not. Do you
know why some build dependencies (swig, libprelude, etc.) are not in the
dependency list?

Thank you,

d.marlin
