Re: EXTERNAL: Re: Off Topic - Before the List is Gone! NOTE: Not Gone, MOVED
Sad to hear that arslist will not be around in its current format anymore. Thank you Dan for keeping the list alive over the years.. ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org "Where the Answers Are, and have been for 20 years"
Re: Importing data using Escalations
Another approach is the use of Materialized Views in the arsystem schema. I found it extremely useful, chat to Oracle DBA to fine tune refresh options. With a fast DB link 500K records is a breeze, you might even get times less than a minute. On Jun 28, 11:16 pm, O'Brien, Keith KOB. We have an escalation that polls that data nightly, but the record set has increased to over 350,000 records Which we need to keep in sync. The problem is that escalation takes too long to run, hours. Is there a better approach to keep this data in sync? Regards, Keith. Disclaimer link. Re: how to invoke sub process (WORK FLOW) using BMC Remedy Action Request System
Making use of call guides which check flags is one way. The other is to have a work flow template table which is referenced and the necessary actions kicked-off/created with pre-defined predecessors successors. ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor:rmisoluti...@verizon.net ARSlist: Where the Answers Are
Re: Missing field’s ghost haunting form
Export form to def file. Check for field id/name there, fix re- import. (keep backup) Also check if you don't use sql statement in workflow. Ta Kobus ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor:rmisoluti...@verizon.net ARSlist: Where the Answers Are

Re: Panacea Workflow Studio (UNCLASSIFIED)
It's a great product, I reviewed it about a year ago. Contact the Panacea people for a trail licence and test it out yourself. My view is that if you need to deal with many remedy servers Abydos migth be a better option (Cost wise) but if not Panacea is the better one.
