Update: I disabled a filter which should run a process katcon.cmd. (I don't need it anymore): With that the message No error : c:\support\katcon.cmd isn't available at the error-log-file. I also tried to optimize our Microsoft SQL database: I did a mantainence plan to Reorganize data and index pages. With that there is no COMMIT TRANSACTION at the error.log. Update: I solved the problem...L I created a really stupid filter...with a set filed value read from another form...und with the option: Disply No Match Error if no requests match. Can't access MidTier http://servername/arsys/shared/login.jsp?/arsys/
Dear ARS-List,
In our environment we can't access our AR System Server by http-Access.
We get the following error: http Status 500. Today we really didn't do
any Update or system changes. Two weeks ago we had problems with our
plugin-server. To fix this issue we reinstalled java on our server.
I tried to update to latest java (1.7) and tomcat version (7.0.27) but
this didn't solve the problem.
Do you have any ideas how I can solve this problem?

My original response for a solution is still the way to go. The help
guide in developer studio has already done most of the work for you,
telling you step by step what to do.
Two table fields all pointing to what ever form your people
information sits in.
Table 1 shows the list of users to pick from.
Table 2 has its qualification set to 1=2 so that does not show any data.
In table 1 the user selects a person and hits the add button.
Workflow calls the add row process on table 2 and fills in the details
of what was selected in table 1.
Repeat for each person added.
A delete button can remove people from table 2.
User can hit the send button which triggers workflow to walk table 2,
creating a notification for each person.
This should take you about 15 - 20 minutes to build if you are
familiar with the development environment.
This is the very implementation I used for one of our notification
systems.
The help document notes in developer studio gives added pointers and
other features to use for this process.
As Misi stated, this can be done with just the one form.

itself. But I have to store the information of a failure and the
information of the two tables in one request. Am I right with this?
Or do I forget anything? This is what I don’t understand - this can't work
for me!

If I want a table with one column und about 20 rows I need a new form [Form 1] with one character field [Char Field] and in that form 20 requests with different Char Field contents? I connect this form and the character field with the table. Then I have a table with fixed values. This would be ok for my left table. But how do I handle with the right table? My problem is that I want this kind of selection for my ticket-form. That means of course for each ticket different results in the right table. But I don’t know how to link the table with the request-ID of my ticket form. For that I need a three dimensional table, not only a two-one…I think it must be easier but I don’t how to do it. Remedy view changed to web-alternate(fixed)
Dear listers, unfortunately I changed the default view of our homepage-form to a web - alternate (fixed) one. After that I'm not able to open this form in remedy administrator. I get the following error: The default view of this form is Web - Legacy (Relative), which is not supported in version 7.0. To view this form in 7.0, open it in a previous version of Remedy Administrator. Then, change the default view to Standard (ARERR 7072). Is there any way to set the default view for a form without installing a previous version, because of the fact I cannot get any? create a calendar
Hello, I would to like to do a new maintenance form in our remedy system. Therefore I would like to create a page holder. The first page should contain the facts about the maintenance. The second page should contain a calendar. This calendar should be built like the one in outlook. It should have a monthly view which contains every day of the month. If a maintenance is created in the new form, it should appear at the calendar at the right place (with date and time). Dear listers, I wanted to create some eMail templates for automatic signature (footer). Therefor I created an html-file and added it to page AR System Email Templates. If an email is sent by Remedy the footer always looks okay. But unfortunately if there is an german-umlaut in the text (äöüÄÜÖß) there are cryptically signs. When I replace the ß-sign with szlig;, in outlook the ß-sign is displayed correctly. My html-files' header is the following: html head meta http-equiv=Content-Type content=text/plain; charset=UTF-8 meta name=Generator content=Microsoft Word 14 (filtered) I thought in UTF-8 there is no need to replace the ß-sign to szlig;. I also tried to change the Encoding-type in AR System Email Templates to Unicode (UTF-8) but the results where equal. Do you have any ideas? Thanks a lot for help. I already tried that but I got an error You have specified a field already in
use (ARERR 2326).
I tried that what Misi told me to do, but when I re-import the form (BMC
Remedy Administrator at Tools à Import Definition à From Definition File) the
changes I made in the def-file were not excepted. When I export the Form after
the re-import the def file is just like the first def-file before I made my
changes.
Do I made a wrong re-import for the form? I haven't done this before
I use Remedy 7.1 Patch 8

Hello listeners, today I didn't make experience with mid-tier. Before I started working in our company, somebody installed mid-tier on our remedy-server. I think there is something wrong with the installation. I can login to the remedy-server by web successfully. But most of the functions of remedy aren't working. For example: I can see a diary on a form. But when I click to the book a pop up is created with page isn't available. It seems, that every Active Link doesn't work, too. Am I right, that our mid-tier doesn't work correctly and I have to re-install it? Or is there a mistake in the configuration? Thank you for your help. Scrollbar in character field
Hey folks, I would like to have a scrollbar on the right site in a character field always. Right now, I only get a scrollbar, if the field has got the focus. Do you have any solutions? you did a great job! I downloaded the examble by Mike Debords and imported the
def-file into my remedy. Then I modified one of the active link as I needed it.
At last I changed the value of the OLE-Automation à SendKeys à bstrKeys to
%+{F7} (without quotation).
+ - SHIFT
% - ALT
That worked!

** There is a keyboard shortcut to do this - Shift-Alt-F7. So, with the caveat
that this only works with the user tool, you could set focus to the diary
field, and then use OLE to do the shift-alt-f7. See the OLE examples in the
download section of http://www.buoyantsolutions.net/ (although now that I
check it, the link doesn't appear to be working). Lookup OLE Automation as
an active link action, that should get you started.

Hey ho, this could be a workaround. But what about this :): If a user changes the ticket-status (e.g. from new to wait) the user should see the details of a date/time-field so he can enter the value directly.
