Re: Remedy WEB Question
Hi, If you are on RemedyWeb, it might be time to upgrade ;-) Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://rrr.se Hi Listers, I am wondering if there is a way to call the remedy web with a parameter, so as to display a certain ticket? Something like: http://RemedyWEB-URL?{TicketNumber} Has anyone done that or similar, and willing to help with advice? Re: Remedy WEB Question
Chas, If you look in the Mid-Tier Guide, Page 78, you will find a detailed discussion regarding the ViewFormServlet and its ability to pull up specific records. The parameter you are looking for is 'EID' -Original Message- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:arslist@ARSLIST.ORG] On Behalf Of Chas Roberts Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 11:32 AM To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Remedy WEB Question Hi Listers, I am wondering if there is a way to call the remedy web with a parameter, so as to display a certain ticket? Re: Remedy WEB Question
Hi, yes. Here is a guide for direct URL access using a query: https://communities.bmc.com/communities/message/235618#235618 You can pass values to fields in forms by including the field ID in the URL, as follows: http://mid_tier_server/contextpath/forms/ar_server/form_name?Ffield_id=value e.g. http://itsm7rtm/arsys/arsys/forms/itsm7rtm/HPD:Help%20Desk?F100161=INC00191211 Cheers Carl http://www.missingpiecessoftware.com/ -Original Message- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:arslist@ARSLIST.ORG] On Behalf Of Chas Roberts Sent: 18 July 2012 18:32 To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Remedy WEB Question Hi Listers, I am wondering if there is a way to call the remedy web with a parameter, so as to display a certain ticket? Yes. Chas, You should be able to do this to search a case: https://midtier/arsys/forms/arservername/HPD%3AHelp+Desk/Dialog+View/?F100161=%20INC00X%20mode=Query Just replace arservername and midtier with your environmental values. Re: Remedy WEB Question
As a side question to the list: We need the following link to come up without the results list on top. Just want the ticket to come up and since we are specifying a ticket number I am not sure why it would come up with a results list anyway. Is there a parameter we can use for the 7.6.4 installation with the SHR:LandingConsole format? http://webservername/arsys/forms/appserver/SHR%3ALandingConsole/Default+ Administrator+View/?mode=searchF304255500=HPD%3AHelp+DeskF100076=F ormOpenNoAppListF303647600=SearchTicketWithQualF304255610='100161' %3D%22INC01403453%22 We have also tried: http://webservername/arsys/forms/appserver/SHR%3ALandingConsole/Default+ Administrator+View/?mode=searchF304255500=HPD%3AHelp+DeskF100076=F ormOpenF303647600=SearchTicketWithQualF304255610='100161'%3D%22INC 01403453%22 and http://webservername/arsys/forms/appserver/SHR%3ALandingConsole/Default+ Administrator+View/?mode=modifyF304255500=HPD%3AHelp+DeskF100076=F ormOpenF303647600=SearchTicketWithQualF304255610='100161'%3D%22INC 01403453%22 Thanks, Brandi -Original Message- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:arslist@arslist.org] On Behalf Of Hodgdon, Paul Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 12:38 PM To: arslist@arslist.org Subject: Re: Remedy WEB Question Chas, You should be able to do this to search a case: https://midtier/arsys/forms/arservername/HPD%3AHelp+Desk/Dialog+View/?F1 00161=%20INC00X%20mode=Query Just replace arservername and midtier with your environmental values.
