After scrutinizing the OBJSTR:Class form. I found that the Recon ID on one
of the class had a 'O' instead of a '0' (zero). Fixed that, restart both
servers and everything is working again.

Thanks listers.

I didn't want to further hijack Alfred's thread.

So I my case, my model looks fine. However, it seems that the arcmdbd and
arrecond processes aren't executing now in my server group. I've read that
CMDB 2.1 p6 fixes this issue (SW00302593).

Thanks

Yah. I saw that on the system I just took over. Take a look at the class
manager and you might find the model is mangled. Mine showed classes
belonging to superclasses that did not match what they were supposed to be.
I couldn't fix it and had to strip out the CMDB to start over and now I've
got a mess. I hope you aren't in that situation.

              Edward,

The processes you mention are not involved in creating CIs
manually.

It looks like some filters associated with the AST and/or BMC
forms have
              been lost.

Open the admin tool and look at the filters on, for example,
the
              AST:Computer and BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem forms.

Compare these with a working system to identify if any have
been lost.

              Cheers
