After scrutinizing the OBJSTR:Class form. I found that the Recon ID on one of the class had a 'O' instead of a '0' (zero). Fixed that, restart both servers and everything is working again.
Thanks listers. So I my case, my model looks fine. However, it seems that the arcmdbd and arrecond processes aren't executing now in my server group. I've read that CMDB 2.1 p6 fixes this issue (SW00302593). Take a look at the class manager and you might find the model is mangled. Mine showed classes belonging to superclasses that did not match what they were supposed to be. I couldn't fix it and had to strip out the CMDB to start over and now I've got a mess. I hope you aren't in that situation. -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:arsl...@arslist.org] On Behalf Of DCI Remedy Sent: Tuesday, November 24, 2009 11:08 To: arslist@ARSLIST.ORG Subject: Re: Unable to create CI in CMDB 2.1 P3 ** This doesn't look good. It looks like some filters associated with the AST and/or BMC forms have been lost. Open the admin tool and look at the filters on, for example, the AST:Computer and BMC.CORE:BMC_ComputerSystem forms. Compare these with a working system to identify if any have been lost.
