Joe, a lot of laptops now come with both hdmi and VGA and of course USB. A lot of projectors also support these technologies so as long as you have the ports, you should be able to leverage them to do why you suggest. A lot of projectors also support these technologies so as long as you have the ports, you should be able to leverage them to do why you suggest. Last time I went they had a couple of treadmills, weights, a few medicine balls, parallel bars, and the standard bike machines and steppers etc.. Its not a full equipped gym but fairly good for a hotel. The Marriott across the street (full service Marriott) where I stayed at as well for a couple of nights before the RUG and after, has a better gym. They had more options on the medicine balls as well as other stuff.. Thanks for the reminder Rick. I am told that the health club has been totally rebuilt with all new equipment. My AV contract doesn't tell me resolution of the projectors so I have asked them for it. My laptop is also 1920X1080 deliberately so that native resolution is perfect for my 55 LCD TV screen. That's the nice thing about the 1920x1080 resolution! Fits most new standard televisions.. You don't usually get projectors to match that but there are a few reasonably priced ones now in the market that you can get on that resolution.. Sadly the resolution for the Fairmont PSAV services is 1280 X 800. Get used to it, PSAV bought out their main competitor and are now something silly like 80%+ of the market. That is why people like me go GACK, we could buy that TV and raffle it off for less. Fits most new standard televisions.. You don't usually get projectors to match that but there are a few reasonably priced ones now in the market that you can get on that resolution..
