Re: Table field refresh in Remedy 18.05

2018-10-10 Thread Carl Wilson
Hi Misi,
Sometimes the Studio crashes and seems to corrupt the stored cache which
then stops a number of things working.
Creating a new workspace, or purging the old will rebuild the stored
objects.

Cheers.

RE: Java 9 or later for Remedy?

2018-10-10 Thread Walters, Mark
Regarding BMC’s position on the Java licensing changes – see
https://communities.bmc.com/docs/DOC-108051

I’m afraid I can’t comment on upcoming releases but you would hope it would be
around the time the Java changes come into effect ☺

Hi,

Thank you for the information.

We now have Java 11 I guess, so I guess it is time for Remedy to move on...

A customer of mine is concerned by the fact that the cost of using Java 8 will
increase significantly after January 2018 which seems to be corroborated to
some extent by the Oracle web site:

So when is the next release of Remedy due, and are they working on Java 11

Java 11 support is a topic we are discussing, as stated at
