Hi,

I would like to relay the information about this upcoming conference on trapped ions organized at NIST Boulder. M-Labs will be participating with an exhibit (including some Sinara boards) and the hosting of a networking event and panel discussion at Sanitas Brewery one evening. The panel will be on the future of control systems for quantum information experiments.

Conference registration has recently opened and costs US$431 catered, US$250 non-catered.

Abstract deadline: July 1
Registration deadline: August 1
Conference dates: August 14-18

The conference would be a great opportunity for the ARTIQ community to get together. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Sébastien

Dear Members of the International Ion Trap Community,

The Ion Storage group at NIST Boulder will be holding a new Ion Trap Conference at our laboratory. The conference will be similar in scope and aims to the European Conference on Trapped Ions (ECTI) but with a corresponding emphasis on North American research. We hope for this to become a regular series, running on alternate years to ECTI. If you are interested in attending, please add the following dates to your diary:

1st North American Conference on Trapped Ions
NIST Boulder Campus, Colorado USA
August 14-18 2017
https://www.nist.gov/news-events/events/2017/08/1st-north-american-conference-trapped-ions

More details and a registration link will be posted on the website in about a month and we will email you again at that time. Until then please feel free to make suggestions and pass this email on to colleagues and team members who may be interested.

Sincerely,
David Allcock & Andrew Wilson
(For the NIST Ions)
