Re: [ARTIQ] getting the 3rd Urukul to work

Hi David, and thanks for your reply.

Quoting David Nadlinger:
Is the third Urukul correctly defined in the gateware build? I've
seen hangs like this when there wasn't actually an SPI core at the
specified RTIO address.

That sounds very reasonable, I will further investigate in that direction.

Cheers,
Nico

[ARTIQ] getting the 3rd Urukul to work

2019-01-31 Thread Nico Pulido via ARTIQ

Dear all,

I would like to kindly ask for your help with a little problem that we
are encountering at the IQO in Hannover. We are playing around with a
crate that has a Kasli SN 14. Everything works fine but for one thing:

We have 3 Urukuls and we cannot get the third one to work (the other
two are working fine).

If we try to use the third one, the experiment just keeps running and
the Urukul does not respond.

Here is our device_db.py:
https://pastebin.com/fq1eQscC

At first we thought it might be a problem with the channels. But if we
rearrange them, nothing changes: it is the third card the one the
gives trouble always.

If someone has an idea of what could possibly be the problem it would
be awesome.

Cheers,
Nico
